Visit the house from A Christmas Story this November

Long before I moved to the US I'd seen A Christmas Story during the days running up to Christmas. It's one of those few movies that probably just about everyone sees, and its endlessly rerun during the holidays, right next to It's A Beautiful Life in the movies that make up the mythos of American life.

Cleveland was the setting for A Christmas Story, and the house where the film was shot will now be opened to the public as a tourist attraction. For $5 you can tour the house which has been totally redone inside to match the movie, and visit the museum next door. It's a total shrine to a piece of Americana that we love, and starting Nov. 25th you can visit it. Worth swinging by the next time you're planning a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame tour.

The only question is: will I be able to purchase a lady's leg lamp to take home with me?
